You know, breaks between work allow for greater productivity, reduce negativity, encourage positivity, and lead to a balanced work-life. Besides that, it recharges you with more power, helps you retain the information, helps you reevaluate, improves focus, and leads to better concentration.

It doesn't matter how long your breaks are because what you tend to do in those breaks is what matters👀

I love to distract myself to something completely different from my work, and some of that includes-

Talking a walk
Making a 📞 to friends and family
Watching 🍿
Playing with my 🐩(my cute dog)
Spending time with nature
Preparing evening snacks
Reading a 📖
Spending time over a quality conversation
Listening to podcasts
Online browsing

🙌🏻Breaks can do wonders. As stated by Ralph Marston,
“Rest when you’re weary. Refresh and renew yourself, your body, your mind, your spirit. Then get back to work.”

🙊My break time goes for about 30-45minutes.

I survived and have made it to the seventh month of 2021; yay, blessed beyond words!🙌🏻 And if you're reading this too, then you and I have officially landed in July. 🥂CHEERS TO THAT VICTORY in this pandemic!!

And technically, half of the year is gone🤭, and it just tickles me to think of the time left for 2021. The list of never-ending tasks, power goals, horror deadlines, and whatnot!
But, remember, life is short, beautiful and July is here to remind you of all the things you do not wish to repeat, some things not to miss, and small things to cherish in the last six months of 2021. However, the pandemic isn't over, so don't forget to live a healthy life and be a lot safer than before.

On this day in 1969, the Stonewall Uprising/Rebell

On this day in 1969, the Stonewall Uprising/Rebellion in the Greenwich Village of New York City changed the journey for the LGBT community. When police raided the Stonewall Inn, the bar that was considered the only safe place for the members of the gay community, it electrified the emotions of the members, and they decided to fight back. Thus, the rebel began attaining gender equality, the fight for acceptance and above all, the right to love.

And because of the constant fight for equality, the world is healthier now for the LGBT community; today, there is a better understanding and more acceptance. They can walk without fear, and many can breathe and express themselves freely.

When I think of LGBT acceptance in India, it still needs a lot of support as many are unaware, uneducated and sceptical about this topic. But, thanks to social media, various radical movements and people taking the initiative to talk about the LGBT community, AND AS A RESULT, there is enormous acceptance and awareness, especially among the youth now. However, the struggle to take it to the inside of the Indian families is still a constant fight.

As Pride month is about to end, I wish to remind all of you-

EDUCATE YOURSELF AND OTHERS
BE FLEXIBLE
BE RECEPTIVE

Because there is no right and wrong in being who you truly are!

Did you know that there are more than 20 types of genders besides female and male, such as trans woman, trans men, androgynous, pangender and trigender, etc.? Even Ancient India accepted transgender people, and you won't believe there is so much history favouring and supporting alternate sexuality in Hindu mythology.

It has been almost two years now that I have been super consistent with my yoga sessions. Some of my favourite yoga poses that I enjoy and do almost every day are Cat and Cow, Upward facing dog, Baby Cobra, Child's pose, Puppy pose, Yogi squat, Backbend, Forward fold, and so many more 🧘‍♀️

It has only given me health benefits.
Some of which are-

•Better sleep
•Calmer mind and body
•Improved focus levels
•Greater flexibility
•Controlled breathing
•Attracts positive energies
•Healthy digestion
•Builds strength
•Eliminates joint or back pains
•Encourages correct posture
•Higher consciousness and awareness

Last but not least, it enables you to bring your mind, body and soul in complete harmony. Yoga not just helps in physical well-being but will also monitor your mental and emotional health. Yoga is for everyone who wants to live a happy and healthy lifestyle.

📖The Bhagavad Gita states- "Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self."
